Another year...

It's crazy to think another class is wrapping up capstone and breathing a sigh of relief after the craziness of preparing for presentations. Makes me wonder who else pulled an all nighter in the radio station going crazy (or watching other people go crazy - like I did with Tandi, Pat, and Megan!)

Unfortunately I couldn't make it up to watch the presentations - the joy of a real grown-up full time job. LOL But I hear they went well! Congrats!

The job is good. Not terribly hard...haven't messed anything major up yet. And it's nice to feel like I'm making a dent in my debt. A very very small dent, but a dent nonetheless. I miss being on-air, but I'm just down the hall and keeping in touch with all my other contacts.

That's the update for now... Back to work!

Full-time

Well I decided to take the full-time job in a different department. That will really help me get on my feet, and in the meantime I have other options that will remain open to me. I'm still going to DJ at Kiss on the weekend. I'll still be a top contender if anything opens up in Jay's department, I have Marshall across town, and Darren in Cleveland. I even have a contact shopping my resume around to several other Cleveland TV and radio stations. So it is in no way giving up - I'm still in the game! just with longer hours and more rush hour traffic to deal with.

Not a Decision maker...

I'm dying here. I have no clue what to do. Take a full time job that's still sorta in the business but not really anything i wanted to do with my life (like so many of my peers have already done...) or just stick it out with my head at water level and four part time jobs doin what i like.

AUGH!

Hello March...

It's been awhile, but not much has changed.

Got a few full-time possibilities on the horizon and made a few new contacts so I'll let you know when/if anything develops there.

Also going along with one of Pat's recent realizations, I've started organizing any business cards or contact info I've accumulated ...it's that whole 'growing up' thing, i guess. So if anyone has any business cards they want to send me for my 'file' - let me know! LOL

So that's about it for now. Back to work!
